Femalegra is categorized as a phosphodiesterase (PDE) medication. This drug is designed to help treat erectile dysfunction by enhancing blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal, which can result in an erection.
Take Femalegra exactly as your doctor prescribes. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration of use. Adhere to the instructions on the prescription label. Typically, Femalegra is taken on an as-needed basis, 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to sexual activity, and can be taken up to 4 hours in advance. Do not take Femalegra more than once a day. It can assist in obtaining an erection when sexual stimulation occurs; however, merely taking the pill will not result in an erection. Follow your doctor’s guidance.
Femalegra can be used as needed, so the risk of overdose is low. If an overdose occurs, contact your doctor immediately. Possible symptoms include irregular heartbeat, pain, and nausea.
Avoid taking Femalegra if you are on any nitrate-based medications, such as nitroglycerin patches, ointments, or tablets. It is not suitable for individuals with a known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the tablet.
Like other medications, Femalegra can lead to side effects. The most frequently reported side effects include stomach discomfort, facial flushing, nasal congestion, and diarrhea. Inform your doctor if Femalegra is not effective or if you encounter any of the side effects mentioned.
